so whats been happening this last week or so, well not a great deal, did my first proper day at work with real live customers!! wasnt nearly as bad as i thought, but i think thats cause it was pretty quiet, even managed to get in an hour board break, which was great, got my first ride up on the chair lifts, the view from the top was amazin, altho once you get back you realy dont feel to much like working, but it was good to break into boarding gently
oh and i managed one night out, typicaly had to be the night before i started work properly, but we took it easy and got home early-ish. there was a band playing called the toques and if u wore a toque (hat) u got in free
also there was a prize for the most original toque, this random guy and rob both won a cd
there were pilsner girls there as well giving out prizes, mic won a lovely hat, made him look like some wierdo school girl tho. they even gave us 2 free pitchers of beer, shame we were working the next day but we still drank them :)
the view from the top of the timber chair, nice way to spend ur work break i recon
me relaxing on my break
the resort when i went up the boarding yesterday, thats my place of work on the left, very handy cause i get to keep my gear up there, saves me having to carry it up the hill everyday. also put my board in for a service on sat so picked it up from the shop, jody had done an amazin job on it, all for free :)
one of the runs i went down, jst having a breather before heading off again, cant wait till my legs can keep up with my enthusiasm
this is chris, he works in the repair shop, i dont think he needed a break but he kindly kept me company
after finaly geting of the hill we went for a well earned beer or 5 and a mountain of nachos
me peeking over the nachos, they were huge, bigger than me, well maybe not quite
so i have another day off today, im going to wrap my xmas pressies and get them to the post office, postage costs a fortune so not looking forward to that expense!! then i have 2 days of work then debbie arrives!! then i have 7 days of to show debbie the sights

Ooooh - do I see a corner of the new cafe on the mountain in one of those pics?
Now you can go for a pee in relative warmth and safety! Rather than freezing your kecks off in one of the wooden portaloos!
Glad that the job is going well for you - that rocks. And it's so funny that Kieron's sending us a package as we literally posted one for him about two days ago!
keep up the great blogging - it's brilliant to read your adventures!
