the adventure continues

hey everyone, i know you'v all been on the edge of your seats waiting for a blog update, sorry to keep you all waiting but iv not realy been doing anything out of the usual. working, boarding, drinking, working, boarding, drinking, thats pretty much how life is going at the moment

i passed this snowman on a roof on our way up the hill last week, very cute. i didnt realise i had the camera setting on black and white, so its a bit arty looking, lol

the snow was amazing that day and we got up the hill for about 9.30, after a very small but very knackering (i cant believe im still unfit) hike, we had a full tree run of untouched powder, the best run of my life, it was amazing. here is a pic of the run before we shreded it all up, pow pow
SANY0007.JPG

we went and did the same run the next day but it was all tracked out and not so good, the posse of the day, anna, gail and rob

then last night i went out to a birthday party, i havnt had a good night out in ages so i ended up geting extremely drunk and not making it home till 3 am, not a good idea when i have to get up for work at 6.30am, it was a very long morning as u can imagine but i got to finish at 12 so it could have been a lot worse

the birthday girl and me, oh i forgot to mention the biggest thing thats happened since we last spoke, i got my hair dreaded and i love it, i mean i never washed it before so now i have a proper excuse. when i first got them done they were sticking up all over the place, they'v calmed down a lot

i had no plans of going boarding today but at work this morning it started puking snow so i had to go up, even tho i wanted to go home to bed sooooooo badly. was so worth it though, got loads of freash pow pow, yippeeeee i love the pow

i took this pic ages ago, but didnt get round to posting it, the little black dot in the snow on the left is debbie
panoramic.jpg

so thats whats being going on in the life of debi, a few things about living here that iv noticed, ice, im sick to the back teeth of walking on it, our driveway is on a slope and a couple of days ago it was like an ice rink on a slope, impossible to walk on, i had to climb the snow back to get out, then it takes so long to get anywhere because u have to walk so carefuly, grrr. also why is bread so expensive!!?? a plain white pan loaf costs around $4, thats about £2 for a cheapo loaf, jeez what is with that, also cheese is sooo expensive (alex you were so right), its just not right. it occured to me last wk that my life basicaly revolves around snowboarding, if im not snowboarding, im talking about snowboarding, if im not tlaking about snowboarding im watching snowboarding movies, if im not watching snowboarding movies im working with snowboards! its going to be wierd when the season ends and there's no more snowboarding :(

Cheese issue - told ya!
Actually, groceries in general are pretty spenny in Fernie, I found. And if you want to make a cake from scratch, it costs more than if you buy a weird packet mix!
