cardboard derby day finaly arrived, you may remember in my rentals party blog our spaceship entry kinda died so we'v spent the last 4 days frantically making a new entry. we decided a stage with a 80's girl rock band on it would be a winning entry

some of the other entries, this ship had a working canon!! was pretty amazin, altho i think the security guy was having a nearvous breakdown

every entry had to have a functioning breaking device, think most people seemed to ignore that rule, the best was a giant tadpole that hurtled down the hill so fast it crashed through the barrier, through quite a few unsuspecting skiers and beyond, was very funny

this entry was unbelievable, so hard to believe its made of cardboard!! he came down the hill in a flawless fashion and hit the target spot on, but there was no flair, think it was the only entry that didnt get trashed in the race, it got wheeled of back to his house for next year i suspect

the prizes were given out later in the afternoon, we won best costume and overall best entry, yeehaa, rentals rock! the prize was 2 flights to vegas!! not that we'l be seeing any of that, think the manager and supervisor are going to go :( but i hope we get a prize of some sort as we all put in a lot of effort to make it look rockin!

im having a quiet night in tonight as im heading up to the ski hill super early tomoro to demo some burton boards, there here for the weekend and i realy want to try some new boards :) then we'r going to the pub to watch the super bowl and get merry :) oh the joy of not being at work for the next 3 days
