merry xmas everyone

well xmas has been and gone again, it was a good xmas, went out on xmas eve and got a little bit drunker than planned, oops. but we did drink plenty of water before bed so the heads wernt to bad on xmas day. we had a longish lie, followed by pressie opening, breakfast, snowboarding, beers, punch, dinner, pain, sleep. pics speak louder than words so here ye go

we decided to take our drinks home with ur, considering its illegal to drink in the streets here i think we were pretty brave/dumb. chris got his taken of him by the police one night and he had to hand over his whole 6 pack, whoops

we decided we were far to drunk for more beer so we threw it away and filled out glasses with snow, much healthier

hey fans its time for an update. what have we been up to.......well on thu night it was my staff xmas dinner so we all headed to the day lodge for our free dinner and 2 free beers, keavy and chris managed to wangle debbie a dinner and beer voucher. was a great feed and afterwards we all headed up to the hill and launched oranges at targets and if you hit a target you won a prize, i won some burton snowboard socks, wooop! :)

i know it doesnt look like it but debbie did enjoy her xmas dinner. it was very tasty

yesterday i got to leave work at 2.30 debbie was pretty excited since it meant i got to come home and play in the snow, there was a lot of it since it had been snowing all morning. we took the snow skate out for a play, someone had build some big ramps in the lane, they were a bit hardcore for us but we gave them a go anyway




last night we went to the curry bowl for some dinner and on our way we took a pic of the house on my street, they seem to have a new garden decoration every day!!


today was pretty cold, debbies hair even frosted up, either that or she's going grey


we went boarding today, was great. this is me at the top of the elk chair with fernie in the background

i see that its 12.14am in britain just now so merry christmas everyone hope you have a great day and stuff urselves silly. we'r off out tonight for a few drinks. oh and i spoke to my boss yesterday and asked if i can work maximum of 3 days a week so she's cut a few of my days so im just working in the morning which is great :) ok i gota go and get some food before we head out, its quite funny as me and debbie are sitting on the sofa on our laptops wearing the same t-shirt and similar pj bottoms, we look like twins, lol

its begining to look a lot like xmas

its just under a week until xmas and its finaly starting to feel like it, well more like it but still doesnt feel very xmasy. i have xmas eve and xmas day of work, i just dont think thats enough days, ive realy started to get used to this no working milarkie and having 7 days of was great but i want more! i know im just greedy!

anyway our tree is up at last, debbie sorting out the lights




we spent ages geting the tree up and decorating it and as debbie placed the last bouble it fell over so we had to take everything back off and saw a bit of the bottom, then wedge it with some bits of wood, then we redecorated it!

at night i introduced debbie to the $7 beer and burger at the royal, then we stayed for the bingo, u could win a bottle of jack daniels or a beer bong, we didnt win anything :(

busy busy busy

its been a while since ive posted a nice big entry so here goes

well we havnt stopped since debbie arrived, she's going to think im a party animal here or something! here's what we'v been up to, on the morning after she arrived we went to the blue toque for breakfast (i heard it was the best breakfast in fernie) so i made good use of having someone to go to places with at last :) then that night we went to briany's bad taste party (pics on debbies blog) then on friday we played on the snow skate pretty much all day, sooo much fun and maybe just a couple of bruises, at night we went to the hockey. sat we went boarding, my kind boss gave debbie free board and boots rental, we had a great day but had to give up around 3.30 as it was just to cold going up on the lift. then sat night we went to cory's 70's birthday party which was great, altho i got a little bit to drunk and got lost trying to get us home, lol. sunday we recovered and went for burgers for lunch then bought our xmas tree and carried it all the way home. then on monday we went boarding again, followed by cocktails. so now its tue and we'r both sitting on the sofa in our pj's updating our blogs, finaly got some time to update. then we'r going to buy a stand and get the tree up, then tonight we'r going for beer and burgers for $7 at the royal tonight, yum

the shop where the diner is my favourite shop in fernie, its the one with the skate park at the back. it also has an amazing collection of old snowboards, there so cool, these are just a few of them
