well its the end of my days of again, back to work tomoro for 3 days, think it'l be hard geting back into the swing of geting up at 6.30, oh well at least il be able to pay my rent. in other news i stacked it trying to do a rail a couple of days ago and i think i have pulled quite a few muscles in my back, it hurts so there;s been no ridding for me the last few days, but im going to give it a try in my break tomoro and see how i get on. i went to a pot dinner at laurens house last night, everyone has to bring a dish then you get to eat loads of different stuff, it was great :) my contribution was mac and cheese. the star of the party was a pink dove that someone brought, it loved sitting on peoples heads and was so cute, here are some pics

well im having a nice quiet night in tonight in preperation for my early rise tomoro

im almost a pro!

it has been snowing for 2 days so today i got up early and headed up the hill at 8.30am, was such a good day and we hit loads of jumps and stuff, so here is a couple vids of my jibbin a tree, i know i fall on the firt on but it was my first EVER attempt EVER, 2nd attempt was more sucessful, woooop





im back to work tomorow after 9 days off, its going to be a bit of a shock to the system, but its only 1 day then im off for another 4, im planning on boarding like crazy, might even take a lesson since there free, its a hard life

mental rental party

well it was the rentals work party last night, and my they know how to party, was such a good night, there was every type of drink ever, including a keg and they also got a quarter pipe built with a big kicker into it, once id had a few beers i had to give it a go, unfortunately i dont have any footage of it but omg, it was the best fun ever! anyway, here's some pics, i wont post them all but if you wana see them then click on the pics to get to my flickr page. oh and i should explain that the dressing up theme for the party was james bond/aerobics!!

snow shoeing fun

well debbie has left, i walked her to the shuttle bus this moring at 6am, was very sad to see her go and know i wont see her again till june :(

before she left we went on a snow shoe safari (not that there were any animals as its so snowy but we did see signs of lots of wildlife) so we got picked up at the house then headed to provincial park where we got kitted out with snow shoes and headed into the woods

the snow was so deep, there's no way you could have walked through the park without snow shoes on


some bear claw marks on a tree. aparently the biggest problem for baby bears are male bears so the mum will send the babies up trees to keep them safe


we learnt lots of interesting facts about the park and the fernie area. this tree stump is from the fire of 1908, the whole forest was burnt down as was the town, only 30 buildings survived

then at night we went out for drinks to give debbie one last send of. we went to the air guitar championships at the royal pub

well thats the last update of team debbies fernie adventures, back to going it alone. i have my work party tonight (fancy dress theme is bond/aerobics!) so today i have to go and get a costume and some food to bring, they supply the booze. we are building a rail park outside the rental shop, so that should be interesting

we'r so girly

the weather has turned VERY cold and the boarding has taken a bit of a back seat as its far to cold and icy. so yesterday we decided to go for a walk, we had to wrap up warm tho as it was -24 outside!! we went along a trail and walked for about 2 hours, it was pretty damn cold but great to get out and do something different

then at night we went to nats, she was having a girly night, we all brought something to share with the group. me and debbie brought frenship bracelet kit and kings, was a good night

well thats about it, im off work until after debbie goes back to kansas which is great but my pay will be a bit pathetic next month!! hopefully it snows over night so we can go boarding tomoro, feel like i havnt been for ages
